Here at Direct Express Logistics, we are continuing our daily routine and all operations are running as normal. Our excellent service levels remain strong as we endeavour to maintain our usual high standards throughout this uncertain time.
The circumstances surrounding the current COVID-19 outbreak in the UK are changing daily affecting businesses around the country.
Direct Express Logistics has always taken the health and safety of our employees and customers as a top-priority.
We would like to reassure our customers that we are continually monitoring the situation and analysing the threat coronavirus brings.
Please be advised that we have made the following adjustments to our delivery process.
Consignees will not be required to personally sign the E-POD device or hard copy document,
but will be required to provide their name verbally to the delivery driver whereby the driver will
include this on the delivery record. Whereby a customer refuses to provide their name, the
consignment will not be left with them but fall under the ‘refused goods’ process.
We also have the following measures in place.
- All drivers are supplied with antibacterial gel in their vehicles.
- All drivers are informed to use the gel before and after each delivery.
We will continue to update our customers with any further developments, and service changes.
